Assigning a custom entity value to Sitemap Sub Area

Hello, I am trying to put together a Solution that has a configuration page and it assigns a URL to an entity, but then I want the URL to also be assigned to a sub area created in the sitemap.  Is that possible?  If I choose Entity as the type for the Sitemap sub area, it just opens the form, I want the URL to be assigned instead.

    Thanks I think I got it figured out.  I had to create a web resource and just used javascript to pull the value and assign it to the web resource.  Now I can assign it to the Sitemap and it will launch the url I assigned in an iframe.
