Hello Experts,
I have a Custom .rdl Layout and I want to add this in my new report Object. Since we cannot extend Reports, anybody has an idea of how to do it?
I do not want to create a new Layout. Your answers will be much appreciated.

Not sure if I fully understand your question.
If you have a new report layout and you want to change the existing report, you can use Custom Report Layout and Report Layout Selection.
If you have a new report and want to create the layout, you can mention it in AL using RDLCLayout and DefaultLayout. After you build the package, AL will create the layout file for you and then you can modify the layout.
Thank you for the revert. Actually, I only had the .rdl layout. I neither had an existing report nor an .al file. So now, I simply created a report object and created a new Rdl Layout using RDLCLayout, then I copied the existing Layout into this new one.

In this case , copying the report would be the solution as we know reports aren't extendable.
