Hello,

In my CRM 2016 associated views I am not seeing the Filtered on: drop down and not seeing the Include: drop down area.  All I see is the grid.  How can I get this back?

    Hi USA80,

did you by any chance pasted the highlighted section from the activities associated view screen?
Non-activity entities do not have that kind of filtering.

    Hi USA80,

Had a look at a few instances with different versions.  I don't think it's an issue with your Org.

Looks like this filter box is only shown for below particular relationship, and this behavior is consistent from CRM2011 to D365V9:

    • From Account opportunity_customer_account
    • From Contact opportunity_customer_contact

It does not show for customized relationships and even for another OOB relationship opportunity_parent_account & opportunity_parent_contact

Actually, if you inspect DOM, you will see the table have this relationship name as in gridid.

I think it's one of those things how Dynamics works and it's not open to config or customization.

    Regards,

    Abby

So are you saying that if I am on an Account record that has a subgrid showing opportunities, and then I go up to the tiles bar, and hit the down arrow and select Opportunities, the associated opportunity screen appears with no fitler on option or Include option....and this is correct?

    Hi USA80,

Depend on what is the relationship behind the subgrid.

Can you double check from ->From Editor-> Double click on Grid-> Data Source?

For me, tested with navigation menu yesterday, and tried with the subgrid as well just now. It's consistent, filter box only shown for opportunity_customer_account, see image below:

Can you confirm which relationship for subgrid/associated view?

    Regards,

    Abby

If you open assocated view from navigation, check relationship by :

Form Editor for Account form->click into Navigation -> double click on 'Opportunities' Reationship -> Check Relationship name under Name tab
