Hi,

Good Day!

I need to export BC files into .csv using Power Automate.  I have some couple of ideas of what data card to use, how ever not so familiar with BC APIs.  Basically, Customer Table to export from Business Central using Power Automate,  It's my little project here with my company.

Thank you so much!

Ian Caro

    Hi Josh,  after I publish the web service and click the url that appears on odata, this is what I got - {"error":{"code":"Authentication_InvalidCredentials","message":"The server has rejected the client credentials.  CorrelationId:  c4095d22-f08d-40aa-ac6a-da269e597433."}}

    For now it is possible to use a basic authentication but you will need oauth2 very soon.

    Go to users and open the user card.

    Generate a web service key - copy the value

    Go to the web services page. Add a new row and choose page and the item card page ID - you the lookup.

    Publish the web service and click on the url when it appears for odata.

    Provide your credentials. Will be your user ID and the web service key. Note the user ID does not include your email.

    If it authenticates it will open a page with json data.

    You are then all set for my blog

    Hi Josh yeah i saw you blog about this and that is exactly what I'm looking for.  However, I don't know how to details inside the data card what to put.  Possible, to assist with the step-by-step, your solution in your blog will resolved my issue, but my problem is I dont know how to connect the API to BC. I need your guidance, please. thanks.

    This may help: joshanglesea.wordpress.com/.../

    Card page wise you will need a web service to do it without development. BC API page for customers only shows so many fields: docs.microsoft.com/.../dynamics_customer_get

    The BC connector in PA will also want to grab single values. The blog uses the HTTP connector to get around that
