Hello expert,

Newbie in WMS area.
May I know in WMS, how to do Partial Delivery ?
In a case whereby the stock is available, but I don't want to Reserve all lines and also do not want to Release to warehouse all

Since the button in Sales Order is this:

So, in this case, my stock will always reserve for all the lines, although in actual, I don't want to reserve all.

Subsequently, I don't want to create Work when Release to warehouse for all the order line.

May I know what to setup and how ?

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Another alternate is for business using load planning workbench, I am not adding all the screenshots, but you can read about it and follow below pointers

1 - Navigate to Outbound load planning workbench
2 - Select the sales order you wish to partially reserve and release
3 Click Add to a new load and update the quantity you wish to release
4 - Click ok. This will create a new load, and it will be visible in the bottom grid of the outbound load planning workbench
5 - Select the load and click release to warehouse.
6 - System will reserve and release partially

    Hi,

One option to handle this scenario in cases where Sales orders are released per order basis.

1 - Navigate to Warehouse management > Release to warehouse > Release sales orders to warehouse

2 - Select sales order which you wish to partially release and click add

3 - Update the quantity you wish to release and click Release to warehouse

4 - This will partially release sales order to warehouse but will reserve entire order.

In this scenario system will release partially but reserve full order. You can avoid this by using manual reservation before you hit release to warehouse.

    Hello Teevo,

I believe "reserve all order lines" is a customization, it doesn't exists in standard Dynamics 365 SCM:

However, if you want to reserve only a partial quantity of the order line, you can achieve that via the "Reservation " function

If you click on "Release to warehouse", Dynamics will only release the reserved quantity to the warehouse.

    Best regards,
    Laurens van der Tang
