Portal - SharePoint Documents Document Locations

Hi,

I have followed this guide (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/portals/manage-sharepoint-documents) and have sucessfully enabled the document location on an entity.

My question is, say I have two document locations on an account record. "Internal Documents" and "External Documents." In the guide it states thesubgrid should be on "Active Document Locations" how do I specify which grid/document location should be displayed. I tried creating a view filtered to the external location by name, however, it seemingly ignores that.

I think this would be a fairly common scenario, if anyone has achieved this or something similar i would appreciate to know how.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi,

As far as I can tell, it pulls the first active documentation location associated with the record.  If all the associated document locations are inactive, it pulls the first inactive one.  I agree with your assessment - it doesn't seem to respect any filters put into the view chosen for the subgrid on the form.

So I don't think there is support at this point for choosing which of multiple document locations is shown on the portal.  I'd recommend putting this up on the Ideas site:

I have the same issue. Did you ever find a solution to this?
