How to issue GDPDU in ACY (If you really know your BC in Germany)

Hi Everyone,

 

I have a question for the Germany experts:

Do you know of any way to generate the GDPdU export in ACY?

As far as I know, the standard GDPdU extraction is only available in LCY, since many subledger fields (such as Debit Amount) exist only in LCY and not in ACY.

Before I explore custom development, I wanted to check whether anyone is aware of:

 

  • an add‑on or extension,

  • a calculation layer or workaround,

  • or any certified solution that allows generating the GDPdU file in ACY.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

    I apologize, I'm not very familiar with German localization. I suggest you post it on BC Viva Engage, where the Microsoft experts and partners should be able to give you better advice.

    Hello,
    Standard BC doesn’t support GDPdU export in ACY; the German digital audit export is documented as the normal export process only, while ACY is described by Microsoft as a reporting feature, not as an alternative accounting basis for audit files. Even though BC can store LCY + ACY on G/L-related entries after ACY is activated, Microsoft still states that G/L posting is fundamentally LCY-based, and the Germany localization docs don’t mention any built-in ACY option for GDPdU/GoBD export. So the practical answer is: no standard add-on/certified Microsoft solution is documented for this, and if ACY output is mandatory, it will likely mean customization or a partner solution after validating the requirement with the auditor/tax advisor.
