Item Catalog field change after recent update

Hi to all,

My client has presented us with a problem that cropped up recently. They use the vendor item catalog to populate their sales orders. When they enter the item on to a sales order, the system converts it from a catalog item to a inventory item. Recently they received this error code when doing so ." Item template does not exist". We had originally filled out the item template codes on each item and did not understand what caused the error. 

Upon investigation, it seems that the item template code field was switched from item template code 1 to item template 2.see below from the editable excel sheet

We reentered the item templates into the second field (code2) and have fixed the issue.

My question is if anybody else has noticed this issue and knows if this was caused by the latest BC update?

    Amy,

    Have not come across this one. I would suggest you submit a Support ticket to Microsoft asking why and if this is truly the case or a bug.
