Fixed Asset Depreciation in 4-4-5 Accounting Period

How you can manage fixed asset depreciation in 4-4-5 accounting period? I have searched all over and could not find anything about it.

    Isn't depreciation in Business Central calculated on days rather than period anyway?  So it automatically do 4-4-5 if this is the case as you would be specifying the end date of the period in order to calculate the depreciation so it should automatically apportion the additional days based on the last depreciation date to the one you are now running?

    See below, asset had previously been depreciated to 31/12/2022, so first screen shot is depreciating for 4 weeks to 28th January and second is depreciating for 5 weeks to 4th March

    Thanks for your response. That is what I thought but was not sure if it is the case or not. I will try this based on your suggestion and report the result here.
