Hello Amigos,
So . . . we currently use Blackbaud Merchant Services with Blackbaud's Razors Edge (a CRM for nonprofits). We will soon be replacing Razor's Edge with D365 CRM and then connecting that with BC. We plan to continue using Blackbaud Merchant Services because we have lots of donors already set up with BB (BB is the custodian of their financial/card info) and we would likely lose donors if we ask them to all sign up again on a new service.
Am I correct to think that what we need to do is connect BB to the D365 BC api and configure it such that the donor and donation info that BB collects for us can be displayed on a page in BC with the option to transfer that info to a general journal similarly to the way that BC can transfer lines from a bank statement to the general journal?
Does this sound reasonable? How complicated would it be? Do I just need to get our MS partner to do this for us, or is there a way for a relative newcomer to Dynamics BC to do it without incurring the extra cost?
Thanks in advance for all the community wisdom you guys continually share with novices like me!

Partner experience for integrations can be highly valuable. What you have described seems reasonable. If timing is crucial leaning on a partner makes some sense to get more resources involved
