Does anyone know if it is possible to make the 'xaml' data in a classic workflow readable in power automate, so that I can extract information about the classic workflow. I assume the information inside is similar to the clientdata in a flow. I am retrieving classic workflows from a list in power automate and then want to select useful data about the workflow, which I assume is found in the xaml.
use power automate to retrieve the classic workflows from your list with a Get Items action to fetch all the workflows
Then parse XAML data - once you have the XAML data, you can use the compose action to parse the content
power automate has a built-in XML capability - this will help you extract specific information from the XAML
use the "xpath" expression to extract the info needed and then select to map the extracted data to the readable format
