Is it possible to update the OData version that NAV2016 uses to v4?

We want to use the "Popdock" connector with NAV 2016, but they require an OData V4 to be exposed.

Is there a way that the ODatas exposed by NAV are updated to V4?

NAV 2016 will be out of mainstream support this April 2021. NAV 2016 platform does not support OData v4.

The best solution within this context is to upgrade to latest version that not only do support OData v4 natively but implement them as pure API contracts.
