Unable to Delete Managed Solution (Empty dependency list)

I am unable to delete a managed solution from a CRM instance.
It says that it cannot be deleted due to dependencies, however, the dependency list has no records.

There were previously 3 dependencies, all SDK processing steps. 2 caused by business rules and 1 caused by a real-time workflow. I removed all 3 components from the environment and published all customizations, then the list showed as empty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tadhg.

    Hello ,

As per the error code error details are below  -

Name: CannotDeleteInUseComponent Hex: 8004F01F Number: -2147160033- The {0}({1}) component cannot be deleted because it is referenced by {2} other components. For a list of referenced components, use the RetrieveDependenciesForDeleteRequest. - see the error code details here

You could refer below code to find the dependencies using console  -

    docs.microsoft.com/.../sample-detect-solution-dependencies

In addition make sure you don't have any security role , web resource in the solution which  attached to the other solution entity forms , BPF etc.

Thank you for the reply, Sreevalli. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue for me.

Check if there are dependent business rules with scope set at entity level. I had a similar issue but unfortunately don't remember if they appear in the dependency list or not (they were not listed like normal business rules or plugins).

Hi, I have experienced this many times. Even if there is no dependencies showing in the list, it can still detect links in the background. You can start removing the dependencies by revisiting Sitemaps, Apps where you used it. Publish the changes and you should be able to delete it.
