BC-CE Integration, sync a related field in CRM to proxy table

Hi all,

I'm customizing the BC-CE integration with custom tables and fields. I was wondering if it's possible to sync a related field in CRM to the proxy table, so that I can sync this field to BC?
For example: in CRM I've a lookup field to the custom table Segment. I want to sync a field on the Segment table to Customer in BC. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

    Yes, it is possible to sync a related field from a lookup in Dataverse (CRM) to a proxy table and then to Business Central. However, since the integration engine syncs direct fields from the proxy table, you would first need to bring the related field's value into the proxy table itself. Once it's available as a standalone field, it can then be mapped to Business Central using the integration mapping. So, while indirect (lookup) fields aren’t synced automatically, this scenario can be achieved with some customization.

    Thanks for your help!
    I tried adding the following to the proxy table, but the field is not being filled:

            field(111; Segment_name; Text[100])
            {
                ExternalName = 'tst_segmentid.tst_name';
                ExternalType = 'Segment;
                Description = 'Segment name';
                Caption = 'Segment name';
                TableRelation = "CRM Segment".tst_name;
            }

    How can i add the field to the proxy table?
