Management Reporter inconsistent data

I have one particular company for which the data is incomplete in Management Reporter.  Following are some facts related to the issue:

1. There are multiple companies with unique databases and the issue is with one company only

2. This particular company uses 13 accounting periods

3. The incomplete data relates to the 13th and current, 1st period of the new year

4. Some, but not all of the entries are visible on the MR reports

5. All entries have been verified as posted to GL and posted using the correct dates. they were verified in the SQL tables as well as in Financial Inquiry.

6. The fiscal year has not been closed for this company

7. We tested new entries after this issue was noticed and the new entries do not display either

8. MR uses a DataMart which was rebuilt

9. I setup the MR Legacy data which produced the same result.

Logically, this appears to be a MR issue but I would have anticipated that setting up legacy data would have resolved.

Any ideas?

    Hi -

    A couple of questions:

    1. What version of MR are you currently running?
    2. Did you recently upgrade MR from a previous version to a new version?
    3. If yes, did the reports for this company work before the application of an update?
    4. Are all the periods closed in Fiscal Periods for this company?  (Not closing the financial year, just the periods).

    Hi Sean,

    1.  MR version is 2.1.70443

    2. No recent upgrades

    3. Reports have all been correct until latest entries but no correlation to any upgrades

    4. Periods are all open and Financial year end is not closed.

    Hi D - 

    Ok, so CU7 is installed - has this report ever worked properly?   Is this a new report?   What happens if you close all the periods (not year-end close) and run the report again, do the numbers show properly?

    It is not a new report and did work up until a couple of weeks ago.  I just found that the same thing happened with a different database a year ago.  Turned out they opened a MS support request and found that after they setup functional currency it pulled the data.   The current company with the issue has functional currency setup but in looking at the MR logs I found the following:

    The odd thing is that some of the entries for the 13th period are displaying on the reports but not all.

    Hey D - 

    Interesting.....curious what changed a couple of weeks ago to stop this report from working properly.  Can you screen capture your MR Column format and row format?
