The currency of the price list needs to match the currency of the product for pricing method percentage.

When I am doing "New Price List Item" on Dynamics 365/Settings/Product Catalog/Product, some errors "The currency of the price list needs to match the currency of the product for pricing method percentage." popped up after I save it. Can someone help me to figure out the problem. Thanks.

Hi

When you create Product, it gets a Currency set by default. Currency field may not be on the form but it will be set to whatever the base/default currency is.

This currency should match with the Price List currency when you do Percentage based list

The currency field is not on the form. you will have to add the field to the form. Click on the Form Editor at the top, and add the Currency field to form as shown below

Once you clicked on Form Editor, you should get the following

drag and drop the currency field onto form

Click on Save to save the changes to the form

And then do a publish

and the currency field should now be on the product form as shown below
