Lead not linked to Account

If we enter the Existing Account for a Lead, why is the Lead not then linked to the Account??  Can this be fixed?

    Do you meet the same issue with the user mentioned in community.dynamics.com/.../270951 ?

    If so, you could try the workaround I mentioned there.

    Thanks, but that doesn't explain why this happens or how to fix it.  We start a new Lead from a Leads view, then select the Existing Account, but the Lead doesn't appear on the Lead subgrid on the Account form.  It seems that only Leads that are entered from the subgrid will appear there.  That's a flaw in CRM.

    Hi,

    Problem is with your entity that you have bind in subgrid. You need to bind your subgird with lead(Parent Account for Lead) entity, because on lead you have "parent account for lead" which is renamed as Existing Account. Please see below screenshot for binding your subgrid on account with lead.
