Create custom address lookup field

Hi,

I am trying to create a custom address lookup field in Contract form. The requirement is that, I will select an account from other custom field (e.g. End User). After I select it, I would like to have a lookup field to select the address from this End User. However, when I create a lookup field, I find that I have no way to select "Address" entity in "Target Record Type". Please anyone can advise me how can I create this lookup field? Or dynamic CRM online has no way to create address lookup field?

The screen is attached for references.

Thank you very much.

Kenny Ng

I don't know if I understood correctly the question, but maybe you have to create a "relatioship" between your "adderss" entity and your contact entity and then you can use it as a lookup field into your entity

Out of the box there isn't a way to create a lookup to the existing address entity.

An alternative would be to create a custom entity to hold your address data and create a lookup field to that instead.

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for the suggestion. May I know how to create a custom entity to hold my address data? How do I import the existing data from address entity to my custom entity, and how do I sync the data between this two entity automatically in the future?

    Thanks,

    Hi Alessandro,

Thanks for suggestion. Do you mean I should create a "relationship" between "address" entity and "contract entity"? Since I am working on the out of the box contract entity.

    Thanks,

    Kenny Ng,
