Automate Inventory Registration Process using power automate

Hi,

I am looking to automate one of the process where we receive emails from suppliers with the product details, when received, a power automate flow will trigger and parse the email to get the details out of it and update the fin ops. One of the task is to add a registration line for the Purchase order line item and confirm product receipt, I am not sure if we can do that in flow, if it is possible, what tables i should use to create/update the record via flow.

The process i am trying to achieve is explained in the below blog post which is done manually.

    Hi Jeevan,

    The information entered on the form with the manual process is based on a temporary table. There is no data entity for this process out of the box. Also, you can't use temporary tables in data entities.

    It would be possible to create a new worksheet type table where you insert lines to be registered. Then create an 'Action' method which would have x++ logic to simulate the process in coding. This method can be used with Power Automate. I can't help with the exact coding, but you can read my blog for technical details on such action method. dynamicspedia.com/.../

    Hi  Jeevan,

    You would have to create OData action methods in a custom data entity for these requirements and call those actions to create and post item registration and Product receipt.
