I know this is not supported, however has anyone on the forum been successful in getting an SL 7.0 client working under Windows 10?

What I've done with the Dynamics SL 6.5 client on WIndows 10 (build 1903) is to FIRST setup the DSNs (as SYSTEM DSNs)in the ODBC data sources panel, then copy the wkstn directory onto a flash drive (in my case), then install MDAC, and finally install the dynamics SL client and test it out.
I use dynamics sl 7 PF1 in windows 10 in all my users, just before install you have to run in CMD admin console this script:
NET USE S: \\192.168.100.5\DynSl7 /PERSISTENT:YES
WHERE IP = DYNAMICS SLSERVER
Dynsl7 = map folder

A couple good responses here. I talked to the environment team for MSDSL and well, they did not do any testing with anything below 2011 on win 10. It was explained to me that there are different types of components used in the older op systems then are used in win 10 and thats probably the main reason as to why its not compatable.
However the folks that replied do have success.
And as always, do upgrade your SL!
