I'M getting the error message "Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Shared.AnalyzerBase+CollectAction. Unknown product code!" while trying to install the CRM Reporting Extension (CRM 2013 SP1) on the server. We are in an Azure environment and the CRM server is already installed.

Does anyone has some clues as to what to do to resolve this?

Hi Chitra, thanks but that post talk about a different situation. Installing this on a PC is only for viewing reports on the PC, not running the reports on the server.

The server where you are installing CRM Reporting Extension is part of same domain as CRM Server right?

Also check KB article from MS for the same issue.

Yes.  What I don't understand is what "Product Code" it's looking for? We installed the SP1 for CRM 2013 but I know the BD backup is of a higher build. Could that be the reason?

Did you check the MS article ?  It says this error happens

"Multiple version installations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Report Authoring Extensions attempted on the same machine"

    Hi Marc,

You have mentioned in your post that "We are in an Azure environment and the CRM server is already installed". I wanted to confirm if CRM/SQL/AD is installed on Azure or not. Because, as per below KB(Compatibility list) Azure is unsupported and compatible with CRM2011 and 2013.
