I have a client who just purchased another SL user and we are trying to enter the UP001 registration key. The process recognizes the module, serial number and license key as a valid combination but when we go to save the information we get an error the another process has already added the item to the ModuleDetail table.
This type of error is the result of a unique key violation in a table meaning UP001 with the serial number already exists in a table that the registration is trying to insert a record into but I cannot determine what table that is so I can look at it.
A little background: this client was formerly part of another organization that used Dynamics SL but split off. So, they purchased their own SL license and we ported the application and system database from the original client over to this new clients installation. In the system database we cleared out the RegistDetail table and the Registration table in that ported system database and registered this client with their own registration data. That worked just fine until we now are trying to register UP001. The original client had UP001 registered so I suspect we missed clearing out one of the system database tables and that is why we are getting the error.
I have already looked at the Modules table and that table does not contain entries for UP so it does not appear to be the table in question.
If anyone knows what table this message is referring to, I can take it from there.

Never found the exact answer to this but resolved it by deleting all the registration keys and simply entering the added UP001 item along with the other registration keys. Why it would not allow me to just add UP001 remains a mystery.
