Hello,
According to the latest information from Microsoft the duplicate detection is back to the web UI. Does anyone know as of which date this will be activated in Dynamics Online?

There is no officially announced date but the update notification emails have been sent out (you should have received one?) and so you can expect the update to be available soon. :)
Once the update is available, go to Settings >Administration and from there you’ll see Install Product Updates in the lower left corner.
