Vendor analysis - year on year - 2 FY comparison as well as YTD

I am being asked for a report of spend per vendor for 3 vendors for 2 fiscal years prior as well as current YTD.  I am as yet unfamiliar with GP reporting and could use suggestions/assistance as to the best report(s) to give me that information.  I just need summary info - not detailed transaction info.  Thank you!

    smart list is your friend.  check for purchase orders and ap transactions.  make sure to check for void transactions and remember to pull document type as GP stores values as positive numbers.

    this will allow you to put transaction date is between filters to get the data that you need.

    Hi

    Check out some of the views that Victoria Yudin has published on her website.  If one of these fits (or gets close) it would be a good place to start.

    victoriayudin.com/.../payables-sql-views

    Get the view created in the SQL database and then use Excel to connect directly to it using MS Query or ODC connections.

    You may need some help with your first one, but once you get familiar with direct connections, they are really valuable.
