Can not find Your Reference field in the Create purchaseOrders api document

Posted on by
Hello, support team,

I'm working on our application api, which need to create purchase orders to Business Central with some specific purchase order number, and a specific value to Your Reference field under General section in the purchase order.

But I didn't find the Your Reference property from the api documentation:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/api-reference/v2.0/api/dynamics_purchaseorder_create

here is the field I need to link data to it.

As gdrenteria mentioned, currently we cannot extend the standard API, so if you want to use the API, you need to create one from scratch.
In addition, although the performance is not as good as API, you can also use Odata. You only need to add fields to the page and then publish it to the Web Service.
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

    Hi
If you are missing some fields, you will surely have to extend the API page. From documentation "Extending APIs with additional fields isn't currently possible in Business Central. If you need this, you must copy the AL code for the API and create a custom API based on that."
    Here some useful links
    Best Regards
    Gerardo
