Inventory Aging

Hi,

I am trying to create an inventory aging report with the Item Ledger Entries and Item Card Excel from Microsoft Business Central. I am pulling the data into Power BI to do my own manipulation because the Inventory Age Manipulation report is very limiting. I am calculating value with Remaining Quantity and the Unit Cost from the Item Card Excel

How can I get the inventory aging as of a past date? Because the remaining quantity always updates, I am unable to get the data as of a month-end of my choosing.

How have you guys been using the inventory aging reporting? To me it just seems very limited and difficult.
I have the same question (0)

You have asked this question on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Forum (related to Finance and Operations), so my expectation is that your question will not have a proper answer here because you mentioned Microsoft Business Central which is a different application.

I advise you to ask this question on the 'Small and medium business | Business Central, NAV, RMS' forum: https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/?partialUrl=smb

    Hi, good day
You can use this standard report as a guide.

I don't think that's really possible unless you do some very complex calculations to calculate the point in time inventory quantity. Can you clarify why you need this data in the past as opposed to just today?
