We have modified the base report Inventory Transfer Edit List in Microsoft Dynamics GP. When we run the report to screen it appears correct however; when we select the report to go to a printer the text comes out compressed meaning the report is only printing on 3/4 of the page. I have compared this with the base report and the base report will print out using the full width of the paper.
I have the modified report Text Report Options set to Best Text Fit. And the Format Options set to Text Report. Both settings are the same as the base report. I have found little information on Customer Source why the report prints out with compressed text or what causes it. If anyone has any insights I would appreciate you sharing them.
Thank you.

We are using GP 10 with service pack 4.
We have a mixed environment. The majority of our GP clients are on workstations with a small percentage using citrix, all have Office 2003 installed.
We use various models of HP laser printers such as HP color laserjet 5550dn and HP LaserJet P4024 printers where we have experienced this report printing in condensed text.
We experience condensed text from either of these two printers when printing the report from a workstation or a citrix client.
What version of GP are we referring to? Is your printer a laser printer or an old impact printer? Is this a Terminal Server implementation is GP implemented at the workstation level? This will all help us help you.
William,
Does this happen on all computers? It's been a long time, so I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I remember having a similar issue when printing reports from a Terminal Server...it turned out the issue was that Office fonts were not installed on the TS (because there was no Office installed). Copying the fonts from elsewhere fixed it.
