Dataverse to integrate to non microsoft third party applications

Hi ,

I am new to power platform please help me with the below query.

I want to understand a scenario where Dynamics F&O need to interact with multiple third party systems(non microsoft).

I want to know that using dataverse to store data as a repository to allow interaction between F&O and third party sytem.

If I send some data from F&O to third party I assume we send it to dataverse and then how is that exposed to the third party system , do we need to create API for dataverse.

Is using any integration platform as middle layer between Dynamics F&O and third party system a better approach or using dataverse instead of the integration platform?

No, you don't need to create an API for Dataverse - it already exists. Note that you can find answers to such questions in documentation, such as Work with data using code in Microsoft Dataverse.

Your question whether you should use Dataverse instead of an integration platform suggests that you don't consider Dataverse an integration platform. What is your definition of integration platform?
