Update SKU cost in bulk

Hello, Is there a way to update the fields standard, and current cost in bulk by vendor?

we have way too many SKU's to update manually, and I was wondering if there is a way to export a vendor to excell, update the cost and the selling price and then import it back to GP.

    Hi, We have done a similar solution for our customer, this solution will have the ability to export the Inventory list with items , SKU to excel, then the  user can update the cost & then importing to GP automatically. If you are interested Please drop an email to learn.

    Your choices are SQL scripts or integration tools like smart connect that can be used for updating as well as importing, but these are not really an end user tool.

    Alternative would be to write a Dynamics GP macro using mail merge (google it, lots of examples of how to do this online). You then run the macro and leave it to update your records, this is a relatively safe way of doing mass updates without the risk of going direct to SQL table data, the user interface still enforces the business rules when running a macro, so less chance of messing up.

    Our product managers tend to use this method, it is easy to get the hang of after the first couple of goes.
