Is it possible to have the field labels on the left?

Greetings All,

I have looked on the forum etc, discussed with other developers and have not found an answer.

I am adding an extension to the Sales Quotation Form that has a considerable amount of data fields.

The issue is the labels always appear at the top of the field and I cannot seem to find a way to get them to move to the left. The fields at the top with the spacing is requires forces the user to scroll more than they need to. They are migrating from AX 2012 and have used this form for many years and scrolling is not ideal.

The "Label position" property is set to "LEFT". I have tried many different patterns / styles / extended styles but I have not fond one that will respect the field's label property.

I have also discussed with other developers and I get it is for "responsive design", but that is irrelevant as this form would only be used on a desktop with a monitor.(too many data points on the form for mobile).

I have a work around, but really hate it, I am using static text and a group with 2 columns to marry up the labels. This is definitely not ideal and yes I realize how wrong that solution is for the long term.

Is there a way to easily get the labels to display on the left using patterns/styles/extended styles?

If I have missed an article or instructions on it, please point me to it.

Thanks, I see I am doing the same, just not sure why they couldn't have "left" it.

    Regards, Mark
