Category Fields in Item Maintenance Screen.

Hello

On Item Maintenance Window there are three fields named Category 1, 2 and 3.

Does anyone know what there fields are used for?
if these can be renamed?

I'm currently not using these fields and want to know what these can be used for. As I might have some extra information that needs to be included and was wondering if these fields could be used.

These have drop down lists but I can't seem to find where to add values to these drop down lists other than writing to database table. does anyone know where I can add data to these drop down lists?

It'd be great if someone could help with this information

Hi

Your item maintenance window is a modified window - in fact it has been completely reworked. As such, this forum is unlikely to be able to help with that.

I would suggest in this instance, you will need to go back to your Dynamics GP partner for advice.

So you can see what I mean, here is a copy of the window.
