Dynamics 365 for Outlook App - Delegate tracking working for some but not for others

We've recently set up Delegate tracking on the Dynamics 365 for Outlook App, but whilst it is working for some, it is not for others.

For those who it doesn't work for, the delegate can see the Dynamics 365 button on the appointments, but it is greyed out and cannot be selected.

I've compare the Dynamics user profile against another user who can track as a delegate and both have exactly the same settings and security roles.

I've tried redeploying the app for the affected users for both the delegate and the original owner, but nothing has changed.

Any ideas what could be causing it?

    Hi Ryan,

    Things to verify before enabling delegate access in App for Outlook:

    • Delegate access is set up correctly in Outlook.
    • The delegated user has at least Editor permissions on the delegated mailbox.
    • The Skype URL (https://config.edge.skype.com/) is whitelisted.
    • The delegated user has the correct Outlook version.
    • The organization settings are configured properly.
    • After the organization settings are configured, App for Outlook is redeployed for all users.

    • Delegate access is set up correctly in Outlook. -> what means correctly here?
    • The delegated user has at least Editor permissions on the delegated mailbox. -> Editor Permission on the calendar or Inbox? There is no setting to set Editor on a Mailbox?
    • The Skype URL (https://config.edge.skype.com/) is whitelisted. -> Delegate or delegatee who will track the meetings?
    • The delegated user has the correct Outlook version.
    • The organization settings are configured properly.
    • After the organization settings are configured, App for Outlook is redeployed for all users.
