Shared Contact List for Multiple Customers and Vendors in Business Central

hello ,

In the default functionality of Business Central, each customer or vendor typically has their own unique contact list. However, our client has requested a single, shared contact list that can be linked to multiple customers and vendors.

Is it possible to configure Business Central to allow a single contact list to be associated with multiple customers and vendors? If so, could you guide us on how to achieve this, or suggest any workarounds or extensions that might help?

Shared Contact List for Multiple Customers and Vendors in Business Central

As far as I know this cannot be done in Standard. As far as I know this is not possible. You can only set one Company No. on the Contact Card. If you need something generic, consider using dimensions.

In Business Central, the default functionality does not directly support a shared contact list across multiple customers and vendors
