Help editing xreport.xml

I am trying to remove the hourly sales from the zreport. I am editing the xml using notepad++. I read in another post to comment the line out. Can some one give me an example cause I am getting a compiler error after editing. If I remove the text I get it may not be a well formed xml document when selecting in Store operations manager.

    Make sure that you have a calling tag like </ROW> for every opening tag <ROW>

    The layout must conform to the XML coding standard.  This I gets checked when you try to import the template XML file back into the database.
