Hi ,

Ideally this was used when you want to implement some kind of logic after retrieve all records. This was used when you have organization data service or Odata V2.

I believe Microsoft deprecated Odata V2 and introduce web API ( support ODATA V.4 ) and XRM method where you don't have any on complete method. For more information please have a look -
