Hi,

Please correct me, to my knowledge,

1. when CRM is installed, two DB are created. i) MSCRM_DB ii) OrganizationName_DB.

MSCRM_DB - stores license key information and other relevant information related to CRM.

OrganizationName_DB - store records, views, store procedures etc.

2. Two are are created @ backgrund, i) _base table - which holds OOTB fields and ii) _extensionBase table - which holds customize fields.

    Hello.

    CRM creates two databases, right.

    _CONFIG -> Configuration settings

    _MSCRM -> Records

    And the answer for your second question:

    technet.microsoft.com/.../dn531088(v=crm.6).aspx

    Kind regards

    Karsten

    Hi Aniket, please see below :

    Database Type Database Name Description

    Config Database MSCRM_Config This database will contain CRM Server information

                                                                   deployment, such as users and licensing. One

                                                                   config database will be created during the time

                                                                    you  install CRM server. It is important to remem

                                                                   that  each deployment requires its own database

                                                                   instance

    Content Database Organization_name_MSCRM This contains the discussed CRM

                                                                                   metadata architecture. All

                                                                                    configurations are in the metadata.

    if we talk about tables - in 4.0 or 2011 there used to be two table but post 2013, base table and extension table are merged into one table to reduce SQL deadlocks and performance.
