When an approval request is sent this normally sends an email to the approver.
For 1 week now there are no approval mails going out at all from Sales order or Purchase order.
Any idea if there are any updates or this has been removed ?

No, this has not been removed. Is the user sending the requests to approve able to send a test Email via SMTP connector / Current User, etc. What release of BC is this?

Please go to Email Account > and send Test Email for the Default user which is using to send an email

This is version 21.0 of BC. Im still having issues with it, checked all settings needed to make sure its nothing there still no email notifications. I will look into it more today, hopefully a solution soon.
