Can more than one AA code linked to a single account?

In Analytical Accounting, we can have an account forced to have an AA code/Trxn dimension linked. However, if the same account no. has more than than one AA codes, how can I setup to force both AA codes to be entered for that particular GL account.

    You will have to create an accounting class, in which all the required transaction dimensions are included to be required.

    Go to Cards> Financial > Analytical Accounting > Accounting Class.

    Under this class, choose the transaction dimensions, change the analysis type to be "required", "optional" or "not required". The next step is to assign (link) this accounting class to the set of accounts, this can be done on the accounting class link (Cards > Financial > Analytical Accounting > Accounting Class Link)

    We can use account class to set different AA codes to our accounts. But, we can not use more than one account class to a single account.

    So, create a account class and assign the AA code whatever you want and the link to particular GL account.
