Change publisher on existing solution

Hello folks!

I have case where I have changed employment to another firm. One of the customer that I worked with has followed me to the new firm. When I started to build the solution for them I created a new publisher for the solution.

I know that I can change the publisher for the solution, but...

Is there any risk doing that?

Is there a way to change the prefix on fields etc that has been created with the "old" publisher to the new prefix?

The only reason we like to this is for commercial reasons.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Dag-Andre LUndeby,

The publisher of a solution can be changed without issue, but you cannot change the schema name of a field after it has been created.

    Thank you!

I assumed that it was not possible, but worth a shot!
