Have anyone gone through the synchroization process between dynamics GP and Epicor Clientele ? If yes, can someone guide me how this can be achievable ( what tools , requirements etc ). If not , can anyone suggest me the list of probable tools which might help in integrating the two systems.

Thanking you.

Regards,

Vivek

Hello Vivek, I searched through our case history for Dynamics GP but couldn't find any mention of Epicor Clientele.

I know I'm not familiar with it, maybe another customer on here may use it and be able to give information.

    Thanks

Vivek, I would look at the Scribe integration product (www.scribesoft.com).  I hadn't heard of the Clientele product previously either but Scribe is a broadly-used integration tool for many Microsoft CRM-GP integrations.

    Frank,

Well we do use Scribe for integration between Microsoft CRM and Epicor Clientele. But scribe has a lot of limitations and we don't want to use it again for sure. A lot of maintenance work is associated later with it.

I did some research and came out with a tool called " Econnect" to do the synchronization . But I wanted to know if some customers already went through such an synchronization so that I can get some help.

    Derek,

Thanks for your help. Let me know if you come across with a similar customer anytime soon.

    Vivek,

eConnect is a Microsoft application and can actually be installed off the Dynamics GP 2010 DVD.

If you would like to get information on eConnect, you can look on CustomerSource or let me know and I can assist as much as possible through this forum.

Another option is to create another customer forum specifically mentioning eConnect, as one of our Developer team would then address that forum.

    Thanks

Understood Vivek.  Scribe can be a bit challenging to use.  In line with Derek's suggestion about eConnect, you might also want to look at SmartConnect, which provides more of an end-user interface for creating eConnection integrations.
