missing option Microsoft Power Automate in endpoint configuration for business event

Hello !

Following this doc (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/business-events/home-page) I wanted to intercept a specific business event (an approval process in a workflow we created). When I tried to activate the BE it required an endpoint. Then I tried to create one endpoint. Unfortunatelly, the "Microsoft Power Automate" is not avalaible in the dropdown menu.

Is this something else I'm supposed to do ?

Hello Fred,

I agree with the fact that there is a discrepancy between documentation and UI but you can use the following approach to trigger the flow - flow.microsoft.com/.../ and HTTPS option is available for you.

My old blog entry Dynamics 365 FinOps business event integration with Azure function describes how to use the HTTPS option. You can replace the Azure FUnction URL with Logic App, Power Automate, or WebAPI URLs.

I know it is too old for answering this question. We do not need to add endpoints manually if we want to use this event in Power Automate flow. What you need is just creating your flow in Power Automate after saving the endpoint will be added in D365FO Automatically.
