I have been using Great Plains since 1989. We have not updated since 1998 and now are faced with replacing our accounting computers which are all Windows XP. I am told that my DOS based version of GP is not compatible with Windows 7 or 8.  Is that correct?

    Hi,

Are you really using the DOS product? Have you given any consideration to upgrading to dynamics gp?

This is the second one this week I have run into using GPA for DOS. Yes, you will need to upgrade but it will not be easy. You will have to be on GPA for DOS v 9.5 and migrate to MS DYN GP 9.0. Then you will need a couple of hops to get up to GP 2013. I have hung onto to the hold migration kit just for situations like this. If you need it just let me know.
