Custom status and status reason in incident entity

Hi All,

I am currently working on CRM online (D365) and client have a requirement to add status and status reason as 'Inactive'. As Incident is system entity and its not allowing to add status as Inactive.

Can anybody suggest me the requirement is feasible or not and if it feasible then there is any work around for it ?

    Hi,

    CRM system only allow you to add the status reason , but not the status. As best, you can rename the status field value "cancelled to "Inactive".

    Hi Pravin,

    Unfortunately this is not possible OOB way , you can not add additional status in Incident entity. As an alternate you can create another custom fields and changed the custom fields using set state in plugin..

    You may add status reason in the incident only for following fixed stats Active, Resolved, Cancelled .  I would suggest use the cancelled status and create another status reason in cancelled status.

    Hi Goutam,

    I am able to rename cancelled status reason as Inactive but there is no way to change 'status' I guess.
