Updating Extended Amount in QuoteDetail

Hi Everyone,

I have a plugin that updates the QuoteDetail "Extended Amount", but the value for the extened amount is calculated by the CRM system itself and the plugin i worte is not able to update the extened amount. Can anyone please help, how to update this extended amount in quote detail with plugin , and overridding the extended amount value.

If you are manually providing a value in ExtendedAmount, you must also set "ispriceoverridden" to 1, on that quotedetail record.

Hi Shah

You cannot update the extended amount because it is calculated.

You can only update the price per unit that will eventually determine the extended amounr as well after multiply by quantity minus discount and after tax for line detail.

That is you need to override the price.

Can see the picture here how the override pricing would affect the price per unit insteas of using default price from price list.

Unless you are using crm 2015 then you can calculate it using your custom pricing and override using plugin.
