Trade agreements with price group

Hello Experts,

As part of the standard process, if we want to assign a fixed price to a group of items, we typically create an Item Discount Group and link it to the relevant items. Then, within the Trade Agreement, we define a fixed price for that group. When a Purchase Order is created, the system pulls the price from the associated price group.
However, since Microsoft has deactivated the Price Group functionality, what alternative solutions or workarounds has Microsoft provided to achieve similar pricing behaviour?

Scenario: -
•    Within the Item Discount Group, we can create a Price Group, but we are unable to assign items to it.

•    The same Price Group cannot be linked directly to the Released Products.

•    Although the Price Group can be selected in the Trade Agreement, it has no effect because no items are associated with it.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

regards,
Dharma

    Hi,

I don't think you can apply Purchase trade agreement for group of items.  Please refer below chart for different combination of trade agreement:

Price (Sales/Purchase) for Group of Items is Not Supported

You have to define for individual item only.

Thank you, Sagar, for your quick response.

One of my client have a requirement. They have multiple items with thousands of variants.  They want to create different groups and assign a price to each group. When they create a purchase or sell order for the Item, the price should come from the group.

    Is there any workaround?

    Regards,
    Dharma

    Hi,

You can post trade agreements by variant. Since there are thousands of records, it's recommended to use a data entity to upload the data and post them in a single journal

    Hi Sagar,

Can you please elaborate on the By variant process?

Which data entity should I use?
