Restrict use of Inventory Item by Location Code?

Just curious if anyone is aware of a way to restrict the use of a particular inventory Item by Location Code? We have created a generic 'PART' inventory item for one-off purchases, but we only want it to be used for a specific Location Code. Hoping there might be a way to do this. I don't see an option under Stockkeeping Units to restrict the item from being used in a particular location.

there is no standard way of doing this. you need to customize it.
