Dynamics database in Suspect Recovery Mode SQL Server 2000

Hi,

I have a dynamics GP database that is in suspect recovery mode Therefore i cannot log into GP.How do i restore it to normal mode and get GP running?.The company database is okay but the Dynamics Database is the one that is in recovery mode.I am using Microsoft business solutions 7.5 running SQL server 2000.

Kindly assist.

Core reasons of suspect mode issue are:

System failure

Missing log file

SQL server crash

Files are inaccessible

Improper system shutdown

Low disk space

SQL database operation failure

You can easily fix the suspect mode issue by using these steps:

Set database into emergency mode:

Alter database db_name Set emergency

Perform consistency check

DBCC CHECKDB (‘db_name’)

Now, set the database into single user mode

Alter database db_name set single_user with rollback immediate

Repair database by using DBCC CHEKDB

DBCC CHECKDB (‘db_name’, repair_allow_data_loss)

I was also looking forward for a solution to recover SQL database from suspect mode you can recover SQL Database from Suspect mode with the help of the manual solution and if manual solution is not helpful then try expert way so that you can securely fix SQL Server Suspect Database.
