"This item cannot be tracked..." error message in Outlook

Hi,

I have read through all suggestions about this error, but nothing seems to fix the issue a few of our users are having.
Every time they open their Outlook, they get an error pop up that says:
"This selected item cannot be tracked in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Item Name="

This started happening when we upgraded from the old Outlook plugin to the new 365 plugin. This appointment was also tracked in CRM before. Now it seems like the error messages appears no matter if the Appointment is tracked or not. (Also after clicking the Synchronize with 365 button in Outlook).

Is there any way we can get rid of the message? What could be the cause of it?

It seems like we have tried everything and still not found a solution for that.

We are running the 8.2.1.176 version of Outlook Plugin

Hopefully there is someone out there that can help us! :)

Thank you!

    Hi,

It might be that an email was tracked and then it was deleted before synchronization, you can find the offending tracked email in Dynamics CRM.

Take a look at this following article, and it will help you find it.

    Hi Judy,

Thank you for your answer. I have seen that post and unfortunately that doesn't help us because we have not deleted the appointment.

Although I did find out that it doesn't happen in Citrix environment. Therefore, it might just be a glitch in the plugin installation.
