Hi,
I have portal set up to log cases. However, the case description and the timeline (for activities) are restricted to what appears to be one column. I would like to crease the width however I am not sure where to navigate to do this or if it is possible. Can someone help?

You can change field layout from the source form, First you need to see which form is used for the case, You can look for entity form records for the cases and can see which form is used, for example in below Web-Create form is used.
You can go to solution, if you have created your portal solution or can open default solution and there you can look for case forms, you can edit form and update layout, save and publish your changes. Now you should see new layout in portal, if not you may need to clear portal cache docs.microsoft.com/.../clear-server-side-cache

You can't increase the width of the page as such but you can change the layout by changing the CRM case form "Web - Edit Case" to make it appear more useful to the end user.
