workflow - approver needs approval

I've set up a Sales Order Approval Workflow.

The approver for this workflow also requires to be able to process sales orders himself. However, as the workflow approval stands, if the approver posts a sales order, he needs to go to and approve.

Is it possible to have an approver, post a sales order and have it automatically go to posted sales orders?

try to put a condition on the sales order header where user ID <> and select the user ID for the approver

Have that user set as unlimited for sales in the approval user setup. That way they have no approver.
